I was just bending the top of one of my plants under the net I am using, and snaped off the top four inchs. The trunk now has a hole about 4mm accross down the middle. I am nine days into 12/12 lights, is there anything I should do to the trunk and is the plant going to just keep on keeping on? ......Pisslips....

I'm thinking about putting a aquaponic system in the backyard so I can grow a bunch of fish (Murray cod,silver perch and yellas). How do you think our good friend MJ would handle living on fish shit alone?

Hi every, I was lucky enough to be given a few bottles of different nuts and things. The one I dont know about is Floralicious Plus, there is an open bottle and another one that is about two thirds full. I am running a run to waste in coco with a layer of clay balls in the bottom. Nine days into 12/12 with the lights (400mh and a 600hps). Getting 30 to 40% run off with the canna coco nuits, cannazym, and Superthrive (got the last two things free as well). Do I use this Flora stuff or not and what does it do? Because it's black stuff I was thinking may be foliar feeding with it. .......Pisslips.....

I have read on the internet that i can presex plants, by tying a black plastic bag over a branch waiting a couple of weeks of 12hrs on 12hrs off of sunlight...then wallah. Also how big should your plants be b4 you start to sex them. i had the idea of just getting a big pot and placing it over the whole plant as to make sure the plant was only getting 12/12 light cycle, would this work...also how long will it take to show sex (2 weeks?) Hey all, this is my first go at raising from seed. They're just over a week old, in a seed raising mix of coco, vermiculite, worm castings, and coarse sand. They get a light watering every day, and have been fed twice with 1/3 strength fish emulsion N:2.5. The colour on these shots is all over the place, but the important bits have been corrected so that the image colour matches the leaves under indoor daylight. They're looking a shade too yellow, what do you all think? They're also a bit stretchy and are obviously leaning to one side, this is because they're crowded under a little CFL at the moment. I'm more concerned about the leaf health.

Ok so I have drilled 3 holes in my two buckets to fit some straight and L hose connections. Thing is these hose connections don't screw in or anything so I'm relying on the aquarium silicone to hold them in place. I'm not very confident it will. So I have three solutions... 1. Find some grommets to put into the holes to make them tighter for the connections and use silicone to seal for water. 2. Find some screw-in straight and L type hose connections (I'm talking 4mm for air hose here.) 3. Buy new buckets and try again... I think grommets are the way to go, but if I can find screw in connectors that would be mint. Thoughts?

Hey guys i received a clone of white rhino yesterday in a growool cube. i got it a bit earlyier than we wanted cos he had to leave for a holiday i think it was cut about 10 - 14 days ago, there are some rootsbut not coming out the bottom or side of the cube yet. now i have poted the cube in a small pot for now i did that today, but the bottom leaves are yellowing and after the 2 that are yellowing now theres only 2 more nodes left. also the leaves are not all perky ans standing up like they should. is this normal should it survive? is there anything i can do?

Big W have some cheap air pumps. One is a single outlet and the other is a double. I think the double was $20-$25 bucks. Obviously I don't want to buy a pump that might fail on me while I have a DWC grow going. Would I be better off going to an aquarium? On a related note, I plan on running two DWC buckets and having a double outlet pump with an outlet per bucket. Is this a safe approach or am I better off going with 2 x single outlet pumps? Also, the PH test kits at Big W only seem to go to 6.2 as the lowest PH indicator. This is obviously no good if you want to target PH levels of between 5.8-6.2 right? So I will definitely have to go to an aquarium to get one of …

I have made a clone box, similar to Al b Fuct's. At the moment I've got a 100m extraction fan sucking out from the back of the box (left hand side) and a desktop circ fan pointing towards the back of the box (right hand side). And a 4 tube t5 propagation light about 4 inch above the seedlings which are in 40mm rockwool cubes on a 30c heat mat. The rough air temperature around the seedlings will be around 35c - 38c. I'm guessing this is too warm ? if so what can be done to lower the temp ? raise the light maybe ? but should the light not be just above the seedlings ? Also the humidity fluctuates from around 32 rh to 38 rh and rarely goes above 40 rh I'm thinking of introdu…
