So, here's the deal. My babies are burning (see pic) and I can't figure out why. I have added ZERO nutes to them - only rain water and the soil. It's possible that the heat of the new warm lamp (I recently graduated my babies from the seedling fluoros) may have turned the soil's slow release fertz into fast release and overwhelmed the poor girls. So, I did a PH test and it came out pretty squarely at 7.5 (again, see pic). I gotz me some dolomite lime and am ready to go, but I'm wondering... if all the lime's going to do is stabilise the PH to 7.0, I'm wondering if there's a point to applying it at all? Isn't the ideal PH around 5.0-5.5? Can you please advise me, b…

Hi all got a question? I;m just about ready to flip my plants for flowering. changing over from the 130cfl to the 400 cooltube. I also have to repot them I cant repot and leave in the veg chamber as they wont fit so its straight off to the flowering chamber, I have been veging under the 12-1 system anf the main light period is 7pm to 7am now I want to run the hps during the day 7am till 6pm (you start at 11 hrs ib the 12-1 system) So should I repot them during the 1 hour break and then give them a long nights rest? which would be repot between 12.30and 13.30 leave in the dark till 7am next morning (17.5 hr long night) OR repot and the long day under hps 23 hrs (Long …

Just wondering if anyone know's how long it takes for cannazyme to start working on dead root matter? I have a shit load of roots on this grow, to the point the water is finding it hard to filter thru the pots, thought CZ might possibly break down some of the old crap in there a bit and make some more room etc. I remember watching a video once on CZ and how it breaks things down etc, but dont recall how long it might take to start working in a plant situation. i have no idea whats going on but i just installed a new 600hps over my 2 plant system and within 10 mins some of the leaves have wilted.. im not sure if its fully wilted or just dropped but i dont want my plants dying. they have been doing well... they have been on 12/12 for over a week now and im starting to see some flowering but im afraid now thats going to change... is the hps to hot? what do i do? someone please give me some advice? thanx

g'day readers ive been reading the forums for a while and got alot of awsome info but i now have a problem been growing seeddlings in a recirculating two bucket set up no real dramas with ph or ppm under a 250w mh decided to flip them and made a couple of drip feed dwc/bubbler tubs and put them under a 600 hps all good after a couple of days my ph is soaring and i cant keep it down ive used all my ph down and 2l of apple cider vinegar i can bring the ph back to around 5.5 but when i get up in the morn for my ogle the ph has been around 7.5-8 HELP they were doin g really well before i changed them out of the perlite

Howdy all, Can i get some additive suggies from some of you here? I will tell you my situation anyway, 400hps growing in 50/50 coco perlite hand watered in pots. currently white rhino, and prly will be next grow too. Ive used the whole canna ab, rhizo, cannazyme, trio which i wasnt all that impressed with to be honest, not that it was those nutes, more likely something i did, but really, the cannzyme and rihizo isnt ment to used the whole way thru from what i can tell, or its be a waste of money anyway. I found too much rhizo made the roots grow out the bottm of my pots way to quick. Right now for this current grow tho, i started with canna ab for vege, with rhizo and…

Hey Guys, well im growing a mother plant for a dwc setup i just built ( will post pics when i start the project) so im pretty new to this growing indoors things so just wondering how old should a mother plant be before i start takeing little babys from her ? im growing under a 400w globe so yeh how old or big should it be b4 i take the cuttings ne help would be greatly appreciated? cya's

"Hypothetically" If someone was to start growing in a cupboard with Sufficient LED lighting kit and space for 3 plants and a ebb and flow system for the nutrients, and rock wool as a growing medium, what would the best mix of nutrients be? (must be able to buy in Australian stores) Will be doing the usual 6 hours dark for 3 weeks then 12 hours dark for rest of time with the lighting and running the water pump 15 minutes every 3 hours to soak the roots and let drain. I have pretty much every other aspect worked out but wanted someone with experiences opinion on which brands and types of nutrients or additives i should use throughout the growing cycle.
