Hi guys I currently have a 1.5 x 1.1 x 0.5m wardrobe with a 400watt ballast which can run either MH or HPS. At the moment I have some 4-5 week old medicine man and afghan seedlings growing under MH. I plan to take some clones once they get big enough, switch the MH for HPS for flowering and want to have another wardrobe just for the vegetation stage. So 2 wardrobes running simultaneously to keep the cycle going. I want to keep the power bill and heat as low as possible, so looking at getting either CFL or T5 lights for the vegetation cupboard. ATM I am looking at either something like this 6400k 2x55w bulb T5 setup on ebay or a growlush 6400k 130w CFL. Any tho…

New clone tent I picked up from Accent hydro,as you can see in the pics its got a table with a sweet top/work bench to fuck around on,plenty of room up there and even a little bin on the side,currently has 7 white widow clones and 3 pineapple chunk,and a couple of pineapple chunks from a while ago that rooted and I transplanted but neglected,so there getting some tlc with some Canna start and rhizo,clones are on demineralised ph'd water 6.0,cheers kk

Hi all just a newbie question, ive got a big bomb and thc bomb from bomb seeds going at moment i just switched to 12/12 a week ago, i was wondering if it is alright to transplant them into bigger pots or would this cause too much shock. ( im afraid of hermi-ing them) The reason i didnt do it earlier was i didnt have any money to buy bigger pots. Cheers

Hi all, Have put 5 seeds into small pots and they have all just came out. There in coco too When should I chuck them in the drobe? Was thinking just as they get the secondary leaves and ill put them I'm the corner of the cupboard.

Hi all, gonna plant some seeds into coco. But haven't got my ph up /down yet. Should I wait till Monday/Tuesday to plant. Or just go ahead in coco? Or should I try vinegar to get the ph down?

Hi all, Did some reading. And my rh is only 20% when lights are on, would this cause them to be droopy? Or is it the fact I have the fan and until recently the vent fan off while lights were out? I put cups of water and wet tea towels in the drobe but no real affect, should I close my window a bit to lower the amount of air from outside getting in ?

G'day all, Just curious on what some peoples power bills could roughly be? When i was growing my last bill was finalised in November 2011 and was $1800 for the quarter . Now i had x2 400w hps, an aircon which was always running while lights were on 3-4 fans, and a 150w cfl for the clones, couple of small air pumps e.t.c (plus all the normal household goodies running Flatscreen tv,pc,)....Now this was an ESTIMATED bill, No reading was taken besides when i moved out early february, I thought it was abit high but didn't dispute it as i was currently going through legal proceedings, Now court is all over i'm really tempted just to grow some herbs/tomatos and start acquirin…

Hi all Am in desperate need of your advice please; Currently in week 6 just turned ready to flower but the node spacing is massive and wanting to reduce this if possible. We use MH lighting and have LST the babies but wondering if we haven't done enough LST an this contributes to the spacing? perhaps we need to reposition the lights but am concerned they will burn coz they are quite close already? Would really appreciate some insight on some things I'm doing wrong and just generally how I'm going. I started germination on the 24-5-12 and i only just took these photo's One of the two oval leaves is starting to die i heard that was normal but I'm not sure to be honest For nutrients at the moment I'm only using Rose Focus (Growth Technology) and some seaweed nutrients stuff can't remember the name if i need something better or more suitable please let me know. ill buy buying a proper light set up when it gets a bit bigger but for the moment im using a Dawson 15W Warm white as well as the sun when it seems fitting but the light produces virtually no heat so i can ke…
