Hey I'm a complete beginner with cultivation and was wondering if there's anyone out there that would consider "taking me under their wings" just for a grow or 2?

Ok so as the title suggests need some info about how the plant grows into the soil and size of growing area. due to height restrictions in my cupboard I want to come up with a solution for the pot size. I suppose the main question is can I substitute depth with length? will the plants roots grow sideways if there isn't enough room to go down? because then I can make a scrog net nice and low without burning the tips. any ideas?

Sorry if I couldn't find more info. Given our soon to be Centrelink only income, have been speaking to a former "Sea Of Green" gardener and seems like it would solve at least our financial woes. Anyone have tips, ideas or stories please?

A random discovery I thought I would share Vege Twists #89 make THE best joint filters You can buy a years supply for a few dollars from the pasta section at the Cls or Wlwrts As of late I've been getting a bitter cardboard taste when using cardboard for filters, tastes like shit. I also dislike using cigarette filters for taking the goodness I want, plus the environmental factor/disposal So along come Vege Twists #89, a wheat, tomato and spinach filter keeps the world a better place, whilst giving me a clean and straight smoke I like it! Hello all, I've just tried my hand at growing and after a bit of a fizog last season (14/15 managed 5 dry oz's of decent to good smoke) I've decided to try and do this properly this time. Instead of using random bag seed from a mate I'm going to get some decent quality seeds. Feed it nutes when it needs it I'm thinking of trying to grow under lights for a 3 weeks or so. Then move them outside and let the sun do its thing. Hi, I been looking for Bruce Banner #3 seeds for a while, found a site http://1000seeds.info/wordpress/ that sells them at an ok price. However the whole sites is in German. I think they ship to Australian, but not 100% sure. Any info would be great, if they ship to Australia, if the site in even legit. Thanks

Hi All, Just a thought I wanted to pass as I have found a few different answers. if your coco grow seems to need a cal\mag addition - could one use a small amount of liquid dolomite to give the additional cal\mag? something like... adding 5ml per liter to a normal feed and PH it down to 5.8?

Hey all I've grown soil before twice but I'm new to hydro. I got some gear from a mate and was wondering if you guys could help me figure out what's what and how it all fits together. I have two pots identical to the one pictured - they have feeders at the top and two tubes going in at the bottom. There is a tub that I'm guessing is a reservoir. Then there is 2 pump looking things, one of which seems to have an air stone attached to it?

I need some odour control but since im only using 120mm computer fans carbon filter is out of the question as fans are not powerful enough.I have been reading abit about odour control and the yanks swear by a product called ONA or ONA BLOCK.I can only find it on ebay but its overseas,anyone know where i can find this stuff in oz?

Okay, I think a male plant has been stressed and is throwing girl parts, Is the pollen off this still viable as the plant itself is stressed but the pollen should be determined by the genetics of the seed. The plant has had a hard time adjusting to his new home so Im not surprised. He flipped, I didnt know males could but after reading a bit it's just as possible for a boy to swing as a girl. Sad to lose him he was my OG good thing.

Evening all I mentioned in a previous topic a while back that I wanted to create a one off strain for myself but also as a surprise gift for a friend of mine. I want to get 3 different strains and make them into 1 plant. Now I admit this is all new territory for me so correct me if I'm wrong here (and forgive my ignorance to terminology, I have no idea and I've just used Matt's basic language ) but would the easiest thing to do in my case be to order a few feminized seeds of the strains I want and then do a 5 stage grow to get the final plant I want? For example... Stage 1: Grow plant A and 'seed' it with collodial silver water (By 'seed' it I mean create pollen…
