  1. Root ball's first two pics are local garden store soil, Second two pics are ANL soil mix both are herb and vegi mix with worm castings and automatic watering devices
  2. There are some good grows on OSA using Autopots, when u buy the kit the trays have a lug bit built into the tray that the smart valve slides over this holds the smart valve in place so when the tray floods the SM doesn't float away and continue to flood, you'll need to work something out to hold your SM down and in place unless u bought the correct SM with the outer box that is designed for DIY trays SE u should have added a air stone to each pot it would have changed your outcome significantly along with 100% perlite i grew like this for a while over a few grows minus the auto bit and my grows grew fantastic i think its all in the air stone
  3. Yeah Itchy the two bigger tomato plants went a little limped on those really stinking hot days, they have outgrown the pots but we talked about that earlier so i just gave them a little helping hand, the moisture matics work brilliantly, the soil on the right plant is ANL's brand Veggi mix that is the best by far soil mix to use of course with worm castings but anyone using this mix should also add calcium and magnesium as i have ran into a deficiency on all four so glad i tried it with tomatos and seen the deficiency last pics before i toss them in the bin i just cant be bothered with them any longer i have seen the results i wanted and know which soil products to chose, i have more pictures but its taking around 5mins to upload each picture so i'll keep them short'n sweet using the moisture matics when it rains it does not have any problems at all i am even using spill trays under the pots which get flooded every rainy day or night the flooded pots plus the MM waterers does not effect the plants i'll upload some root porn and show how the mass looks later on
  4. I tried this with the 10 litre bucket it only removed part of the small, Indy is right it needs to be vibrated to compact the carbon otherwise it is pretty useless
  5. Haha not yet Queeny but hopefully soon need to be patient
  6. Has been about 4 weeks now since i picked up the tomato clones look how big they are now, the plant on the left has two small tomatos the one on the right has one big tomato, only noticed the deficiency after i water the pots directly twice each just using any plastic bottle i can reach for no access to a watering can
  7. A few breeders suggest trimming in early flower I know GHS is one and I think dink seeds suggest it one one of there strains Posted from the OZ Stoners mobile app
  8. It will probably be a better grow next time with the old left over roots breaking down in the mix, post up some pics as u go Posted from the OZ Stoners mobile app
  9. You can try ebay type in worm poo, worm castings, worm juice etc.. using the standard potting mix with worm casting I am getting a slight deficiency nothing that cant be fixed Posted from the OZ Stoners mobile app
  10. I wouldnt be under the net or thru the net however I would bend them over and tie down with fishing line loosely Posted from the OZ Stoners mobile app
  11. They won't snap he doesn't run a circulation fan that builds up the cracks in the steam resulting in stiffer branches He can easily tie that down Posted from the OZ Stoners mobile app
  12. 1000w vs 600w there is a big difference in heat I would rather run 2 or 3 315w cmh I'm that space if your aim is an abundance of light the 1000w mh hps will put a smile on your dial big fat hard buds but a 600 will still do u proud I'm not sure about cmh harvest I have never used one but I mention those lights as it should be easier to maintain the heat rather than one big 1000w heater Houses catch fire because an Aray of reasons the heat emitted is the problem also lights falling from roofs, electrical gear burning out timers, control boxes, wires overloading shit u need to think of all this and plan it out well I have come so close to burning a house down due to faulty grow gear If your worried go led Posted from the OZ Stoners mobile app
  13. I think you'll find the bag of perlite will set u back $35-$40 alone but the manures shouldn't cost much more, itch knows soils Posted from the OZ Stoners mobile app
  14. Indy, they guys at Green House Seeds Co recommend leaf thinning in the 3rd week of flower I think if CP done this he would see the left over space on the Scroggins to tie down Posted from the OZ Stoners mobile app Auto correct bugger Posted from the OZ Stoners mobile app
  15. Hey John i recently tried a couple different soils just basic veggi mix potting mixes in bags i only added 40% of the pots volume of worm castings i have noticed between different potting mixes 1: slightly different but similar growth rates 2: difference in internode stretch one has a considerable more stretch than the other 3: one flowered quicker before the other 4: one had bigger but lesser flowers 5: the other one had more flowers but much smaller 6: both potting mixes had different water uptake to each other it pays to test a few before u set your grow on one, whatever u do don't run just strait pre packaged soil mine is absolute shit house
