  1. HI yah where am i . I have a few greenhouses. you can build them very easily i put in a picture of mine to give you idea there is one thing i don't think you have looked at for your greenhouse and that is what did you want to grow in it as there are 4 to 5 different shade cloths out there , that you will need to know about. One is most greenhouse you buy will have 70% shade cloth on them which mean not enough light if you thinking of growing pot of any type in it. You will need to make sure you have shadecloth 30% only as its the lightest you can get and works the best for outdoor growing. Its also see though once it up tight so you'll have to be careful where you put the greenhouse. I fixed that problem with putting plastic up the insides of the greenhouse which has turned into a hothouse as well and can tell you that pot loves it big time my plants are now over 8foot tall and tied down so they off the roof. If you have any questions just email me or send a message to me i'll get back to you with some answers if you want them. I also have a greenhouse that has nothing but indoor houseplants in it so i do have a very good idea on how to set them up and how to make them work the best. ok the pictures i have added are the dark green one is a greenhouse with house plants and the other light green one is the hothouse/greenhouse with plastic up the insides on it hope this is of some help to you
  2. thanks guys looks like they are female i found one male so far its pulled and dead now it was 5 foot before it showed it head the little bugger well only have one more not sure of but watching it to see what it does. And yes they are a few months old now, now about 6 foot high going to have to tie them down soon getting too tall. The leaves are over the size of you hand so going to be a wild one i hope. Cant believe how well they love it in the green house working wonder so far. Thanks for all your help will add a few pictures once i find a way to get them done without getting into the poo . Oh yes i have a out of season female all bud and white hairs be ready for x/mas its only 3 foot but bushy budded will get a picture of her too i have never got one so far out of season in outdoor growing betting she will be a mind blow if lucky well thanks all been a great help as always be cool and enjoy yourselfs.
  3. HI all you lovely people out there. I have a Question might be silly to most but need i the info anyway .. OK i have a few plants now there are all about 4 to 5 foot high now the question how big before you can tell true sex of the plant. All my plants have hairs on the fork of the steams now two have what looks like balls with long hairs coming out of the middle of the little ball is that a he/she plant or a female i am a little confused i didn't think males balls had hairs am i right or way of track? The hairs coming out of the long ball are white and brown god tell me its a female i'll be so happy if not i need to pull it as soon as so could someone get back to me about best way to tell male for female as i have 14 plants i don't want seeds if i can help it .. all so far have white hairs so far but the two i am asking about started with just white hairs till now , just the ball flowers i just not sure about thanks to anyone that gets back to me any help is good help i say have a wonderful day everyone and thanks..
  4. i would love to see it be good to know which really is the best way to get your seeds going
  5. thanks everyone i now have a much better idea of what to do, keep it simple. i will use peat moss cubes in good soil mix that way will only have to repot once after they have been topped or tipped and ready for last growth before the flowering starts. I have found if you top or tip them in the green stage of growth ( at the right time of course)they will bush up and give you heaps more tips in the end. Took me a few times to get it right but you can clone the cuttings so you end up with heaps from a few good plants. I will still use the rockwool cubes but only for the seeds that say to use them but will half it try both of them now i understand how to use them lots better thanks again eveyone
  6. thanks everyone helps alot if you keep the cubes in a warm place do you mean in dark as well i have not quit got the idea here. wouldn't i be ok to set up the seeds&cubes in the greenhouse to start of with as that is where they are going to grow in the end it will be hot and humid in the house to start with i am confused here. Do you have to have light on them for 24 hours a day i don't get it at all how am i to do that in outdoors. Wow boy trust a women to come up with lots of silly question sorry i am still confused maybe should cut out the cones till after i read the post heehee. You know don't think that would help me somehow. thanks to all that have helped me so far its not over yet but i am trying. have a lovely day everyone and thank again you guys are the best when it comes to helping the little guy or girl out..
  7. really wow ok but they say to use rockwool on there web site will the peat moss cubes be a better idea i have used them before just not the rockwool cubes. Why say to use them and that they work better if it not true i know suck you into more money.. God can see i opened something up here didnt i. Glad i asked now come on what do the rest of you think??? bad idea or good idea i am well and truely lost once more
  8. Hi again sorry to ask all these silly questions but i have never used rockwool cubes and need a little help. I have got my seeds and found that they say to use rockwool cubes to start them out. Now i have never used them before so i have a few questions. 1. What nut do i use to sock the rockwool cubes in? 2. Does the rockwool sit out in open or does it sit in a try with nut socking it? 3. Do i get the Rockwool cubes that are covered with holes? 4. Do i put them into the potting mix before the seeds open or after?? 5. Will they work fine for outdoor growing? 6. What kind of potting mix works well with Rockwool cubes? ( you see i mix my own potting mix up most times with blood&bone and pot ash for a good food and nut mix for plants will this still be ok to use) Just so you have an idea i have a mix sativa and blueberry in seeds this year other years i have only grow bag seeds so this time i want to make sure they have the best i can give them as it cost me enough for the seeds. oh yes and a most important question i am going to be growing in a very humid hot greenhouse so what can i do to stop any mould starting on the rockwool as i have read a few other post of it and found lots of people had problems with mould and stuff growing on the outside of the cubes will the covered ones stop the moulding up? Sorry to ask all these questions but i want to know as much as i can before i start up again and the time is near so here i am once more asking for your words of wisedom.
  9. wow you guys are really on the ball thanks.. And yes i have a place all picked and i have all me plant food worked out i am going organic this year well i am going to try as i am growing in a lovely greenhouse i built with me hubby not that good at building to do it myself . I have it all set up already and i also put plastic 3/4 of the way up the inside of the greenhouse to help make it a little more humid inside as pot does like that and with it being in greenhouse i will not have to worry so much about the bugs and stuff So organic looks good for me. So what you think Tom am i ready to go heehee. Oh someone asked about the seeds i got well i got them off the net and thanks to everyone that showed me the way to get good seeds didn't think it would work at all but they got here as well as a free lot too very lucky there. I ended up with A mixed Sativa for the kind of high you get and i got a free lot of blueberry as well. I am not sure at all how the blueberry will go as from what i could find out about them they are more the indoor type but i will give it a go might do just fine in greenhouse can only try.(ps would say where i got them from but not sure if i am aloud to do that in this post or not) I read somewhere that there is this stuff you soak your seeds in that helps them turn female is this true or was someone pulling my leg again?? Thanks to everyone once again you have been so much help to me big time.. :thumbsup
  10. Thanks everyone for all your help with getting and picking the right seeds. I didn't end up going with a shunk seed in the end couldn't find one that sounded good to me at right price. So i ended up with a sativa mix for the high and as a plus a got a free lot of blueberry seeds too which is the other end of high so i ended up with one lot of each kinds of high in a way so i am very happy cant wait for spring now. Thanks for everyone words of wisdom you made a hard job lots easier and now its just wait and see and fingers crossed i get some nice females will you all posted once they are in and up and going as to how lucky i am at getting females. :smoke
  11. Thanks everyone your so kind with your words of wisdom. I must say i would really like a bit of both when it comes to the stone i like depending on the day and mood i am in at time. So that why i am asking all the questions about skunk beside being well out of date of what is out there today. So i thought if i find a good skunk and a good pot strain i should be able to cover the stones i like between the both of them i am only growing for my own use so i will only need 2 of each if i am lucky. I was thinking along the lines of northen lights for pot or something like that and a good shunk should be able to hit the two different types of stones i love so much.. So point me in the right way all you lovely people.. Oh and it has to be outdoor strain keep that in mind ok peace all and thanks again for all the help you have given me really has helped me out heaps thats for sure..
  12. thanks i will keep that in mind for sure i know so much out there now that why i am asking what everyone thinks, now as i have about a month before i need to get the seeds so finding out all i can now the more i know the better i can pick my seeds for this year, be first year i am going to pay for good seeds so want to make sure i get the best i can afford for the money i have..
  13. Hi all you wonderful people out there i would like to hear what you think of skunk these days, You see i haven't had any skunk in about 20 years yes i am showing my age forgive me on that but i would really love to try and grow some skunk as it has been so long since i have had any would love to know what all you wonderful people have tried and what you think of the stone its gives you.. You see the last time i had any it was bush skunk and it was coughie and ruff but the stone was wild . What i would like to know is, is it smoother now and what is the best high u have gotten from it. I have asked about different strains in pot and what will grow i am getting closer to finding what i need to know but i still have time to find out more spring is not here yet so i am asking all i can sorry everyone i just want to know all i can before i pay out on seeds its too much money to throw away without knowing everything you can don't you think?
