  3. I have never smoked any weed that slowed my heart rate. I'm pretty sure this has never been proven to be an effect of THC. "quote" One of the most consistent effects of cannabis intoxication is an increased heart rate. For this reason alone it would not be normally recommended for patients with cardiovascular problems. However, THC also acts as a smooth-muscle relaxant, relaxing the walls of the arteries, which can result in lower blood pressure and increased blood flow to the tissues[ii][iii]. The effect taken together is analogous to a car changing down a gear. i] Nahas G, Trouve R (1985) Effects and interactions of natural cannabinoids on the isolated heart. Proc Soc Exp Biol Med 180(2):312-6 [ii] Malit LA, Johnstone RE, Bourke DI, Kulp RA, Klein V, Smith TC (1975) Intravenous delta9-Tetrahydrocannabinol: Effects of ventilatory control and cardiovascular dynamics. Anesthesiology 42(6):666-73 [iii] Johnstone RE, Lief PL, Kulp RA, Smith TC (1975) Combination of delta9-tetrahydrocannabinol with oxymorphone or pentobarbital: Effects on ventilatory control and cardiovascular dynamics. 4. Hey stix, THe active compounds in pot will make your heart pound (palpitations/ increased heart rate). This is well known and is not dangerous (unless you got a bodgy heart). I find some strains will really get my heart going and others not so much. Some strains of pot have particuarly strong effects in some areas such as pain relief, muscle relaxation, appetite stimulation, reduction or increase in anxiety, mood and others. mixing with tobacco changes the way the drug is absorbed into the body and also the high. the nicotine has stimulant effects, giving you a real rush with mixed cones especially. Nicotine increases heart rate and blood pressure. try smoking all green, or just with a tiny amout of tobacco. beware of residues in the bong or funky ash. THis would indicate some thing foregin on the pot hope this helps
  5. Right on Nooby, Too bad about the guys voice
  6. I second the box of gloves idea.
  7. Interesting that no-one has commented on the banning of plants containing substances appropriatly highlighted as the "second piece of rampant stupidity" THis is the bigger piece of shit in this news (i unfortunatly think they may be linked tho). This move to ban plants is a part of CODEX ALIMENTARIUS. Take 10 minutes to educate yourself if you haven't already. http://www.natural-health-information-centre.com/codex-alimentarius.html While it might seem like this testing thing is more relevant to us as smokers, the ban of (medicinal) plants and control of vitamins and minerals will hvae a far greater impact on our lives (AND HEALTH!). You can SAY GOOD BYE TO MEDICINAL MARIJUANA that would be for sure! and also say good bye to garlic, ginger, acacia, mescaline catus, angels trumpet (datura) and many other plants that have been used by mankind for one purpose or another for 1000's of years. Our freedom is being taken from us inch by inch. It isn't publicised main stream becasue that would be contra to their purpose. We as free thinking individuals must educate and empower ourselves. I like my life, I dont want for anything. I'd like to think that if I keep my head down I can continue in this way for a long time. Unfortunatly i keep reading things like what Nooby (and many others) has posted in forums for people like you and me to read. I have no idea what to do about it, but knowing is better than being ignorant. Does anyone else know about the NEW WORLD ORDER, CODEX ALIMENTARIUS and other "rampant pieces of stupidity"?
  8. mate your potting mix looks pretty woody. What is your mix? Wood only releases its nutrients after a long time and with the help of fungus in the soil. Are you using the seasol conditioning thing or "liquid fertiliser"? the seaweed stuff is just a tonic like worm wee you can also get bunk seeds. just a seed with dud genetics and no "vigour"
  9. I did hit myself in the face with it a couple of times...it was nice
