Theres lots of different fertilizers out there that will do a good job.My favorite is the original Canna Veg and flower(flores) that I use with there flowering supplement PK-13 14.Its crop specific.When used to the manufactures instructions it gives me the best yield with nil fertilizer burn.

I rang a large SA hydro shop that advertises on this site and they told me its all bullshit.Nothing has gone through parliament and there's been no change to the criminal code.They also told me that the proposals would be a breech of the free trade laws and could never be enacted!!Its buisness as usual.

The US government has invested that much money and employs that many people in law enforcement that it will never end its war on drugs.Can you imagine them sacking all those coppers and nark's.Its a vicious circle that feeds off itself.More agents,more funding and then more drugs available?!! Even though these guys were going to hard,I still support large scale commercial operations and feel sympathy for them when they get pinched.Not all smokers have the opportunity to grow for themselves or know a home grower to get weed off.They need somewhere to score.Even us growers run out of perso and need to score between picks.In QLD theres no where near enough product to meet demand.As members of the Australian Cannabis community we all should hang up another light and help out with this chronic shortage of decent cheap weed!!

It was all for personal use your honour!! You cant grow crops that big outdoors anymore.One crop like that should set you up for life.I hope it was a one off as they will refer to old satellite images now for the area and work out how long they've been growing for.

I too was caught with a large amount of cannabis and not charged with trafficking.In QLD the prosecution must prove intent to distribute to have a trafficking charge stick.Dont bag all your mull up so it looks like its ready for sale.Lie in court like i do and say "its all for my personal use your honour" no matter how much you`ve been pinched with.Never ever admit you were going to sell any to anyone!!The only way the police can bust you is if somebody tells them where you are and what your doing.If you dont tell anybody,you wont get busted.Simple.

Theres nothing wrong with using vermiculite as a indoor soil less mix.For the last 15 years i`ve use a mixture of one third vermiculite,one third perlite and one third peat moss with a cup of dolimite lime thrown into every 20 litres.It works perfectly and ive never had any troubles.I got the mix out of one of Jorge Cervantes books back in the early ninties.This mix is great for hand watering.When the pots get light water them.Its a very easy mix to flush too if your having over fertilization issues.With this mix ive grown monster crops and been able to flood south east queensland with filthy dutch hydro.Give it a try ,you wont be sorry.

I hate it when that happens.More ventilation may help the problem.I like to have my leaves moving from air flow.Oscillating fans aimed at the vegatations the go.Maybe add another inlet and outlet fan too if possible.

Thats a strange one Rob.Most dual ballasts have a switch or a lever or something to change it from MH to HPS.I doubt you would have to remove the ballast cover to do this.The instructions strongly advise you not to run the wrong bulb.I assume it could blow the bulb or ballast.Can your ballast automatically tell what bulb is on the end of the lamp cable?Are you prepared to sacrifice a bulb to find out?

It sounds alright.Throw in more perlite and sand if your having drainage issues.I use a totaly soilless mix of 1 part perlite,1 part peatmoss,1 part vermiculite with a cup full of dolimite lime thrown into every 20 litres of mix.This mix drains well,handles over fertilisation and can be flushed very easly.It contains no nutrients so must be fertilised from day one.I recommend using Canna and their flowering supplement PK 13-14.

I always use just water,no nutrients for the last week of flowering.Ive been told it flushs the plant and causes the plant to use up any nutrients it may have in its system.I dont know if this is true or not but it does seem to improve the tatse of the final product.Soom strains like jucy fruit or northern lights do have a fruity after tatse where other strains like skunk and some skunk hybreds have a almost musky tatse!
