Fish in Hydro

Recommended Posts

Fish are a very good indicator of PH, their fins deteriorate if it is wrong so you buy the appropriate type of fish for your PH, they share a lot of likes with plants, temperature, oxygenated water, etc., if the fish are happy then the plants will be happy with the water too. I don't know how the fish will go with the hydro nutrients though, here’s a link to something on the subject.

Yay smileys that talk dirty!

Aquaponics is indeed a viable growing method.

BUT!

It took me two years to dial my system in.

The fish provide the bulk of your nutrient requirements I top with 1/40th strength EJ nutes bubbled for 24 hours before applying.

You need veg and bloom off the one res to spread nutrient uptake correctly.

It grows the best weed you'll ever try.

Think organic strength and hydro growth - that is Aquaponics dialed in properly.

Growers who use chem nutes with fish are c***s and should be put in a bath of mild acid to soak.

I can show you a great deal on this subject but i'm very intolerant of lazy people so if you want help/more information have some experience in growing and how to study (search) by yourself (this is not for noob growers) or go away.

There was something on tv not so long back (garding Australia ABC i think.)..

There was this guy growin hydro veges outdoors who had a few holding tanks with yabbies and some kind of fish also.

From the fish holdin tanks to the plants back into the fish holdin tanks..on a continous cycle..

The vege plants loved it..green and bushy as hell.
