IMO keep your address safe but conduct business normally and you're also Canadian so I doubt they'd be so tough on ya even if you do get busted.

Well I would love to get into making those double bubblers. Those were designed and created by Marble Slinger who is my teacher. If I am lucky I am going to get him to come down here for a bit and show me how to make them. I also have ideas for making my own style of bubbler, however it is definetly an advanced type of pipe to make that requires moe skill than I currently have. However I have faith that I will be at that level in the future with lots of practice.

 

With glass blowing, increasing your skill level is really about repitition of a design, skill, technique,etc until you have it mastered. Making spoons incorporate a lot of the basic techniques for quality glass blowing. Thus for me to be a better glass blower the best thing for me to do is to concentrate on making spoon after spoon after spoon till I have it down pat and can churn out a top quality spoon. Then you move on to adding another skill set to that. A spoon can easily become a dry hammer, once you have those down, then you can make a wet hammer bubbler, then make a double bubbler and so on.

 

Thus I am really needing to work on spoons most of all, but obviously if there is not a market for them, then my career is nothing more than an expensive hobby (which I cant afford to have right now)

 

I also do want to do other things besides pipes, like goblets, jars, perfume bottles, marbles, etc....

 

Speaking of jars, in vancouver a really popular thing that everyone had and blowers made lots of insanely cool ones of, was little glass jars for storing your nugs in. They were about 5cm tall and a diameter or 2-3cm and had a cork and would usually be patterned nice or funky. Would that be of interest here ?

I thin kjars would have a much larger popularity here just because of the culture , and ontop of which it's technicly not a piece of paraphenalia so what you ding is allso completely legal

 

 

Somethign someone mentioned yesterday ( think it was naill ) was mabey it would be an idea to do some " cool tubes " for hps lights , they seem to be quite a popular product and something that is hard to source out without going outside of the cannabis comunity

 

Not sure how this would fall into our teachigns but was just a sugestion for the future
