huge001
Thanks for the tips Niall . I totally agree with you about how good it is to use a proper , efficient vaporiser . I have had the Verdamper for a couple of months now & my lungs are so much clearer , no wheezing & i used to wheeze pretty bad after a few bongs .And my asthma is barely unnoticable . Used to use the pump every day .Now once a week tops .And the best thing is that i'm getting so much more wasted ,than i did when i smoked .Can't complain about that , clearer lungs & a better buzz. You cannot put a price on your health , that is why i am willing to spend the extra $'s . In the 2 months that i have been properly vapeing , i have not used MJ any other way - bongs ,joints etc . I will never smoke/burn ever again. The thought makes me sick. And i smoked bongs for over 25 years. There is just no comparison between the awful taste of smoke ,to the delicious taste of vapor. The difference is like Niall said "night and day".PEACEHuge001
Shivan
Thankyou sooooo much for that info. I had found Freewheelin (the only OZ vape shop i found) but died when i saw the prices. I have looked at the volcano on ebay and was orininally going to try and get the valves and a heat gun but on ebay they go for US539.99 which is about AU686.14 so after reading the above info i will just get the volcano off ebay as the whole reason i wanna vape is cause between ciggies(trying to quit) and bongs(dont wanna quit) my lungs are ready to pack it in. I save about $400 and dont have to get bits and peices here and there.
huge001
Shivan , way to go mate . You will not be disappointed everyone loves the Volcano . I was going to get one to , it was atoss up between the Cano & Verdamper .But i went for the Verdamper cos it was watercooled & was basically a bong with a heating element attached. And cos i smoked bongs for so long , i wanted a vape like a bong so that i didn't have to use anything else. And thats what happened i haven't used anything else but the vape.Ended up throwing all my stinky bongs out in the rubbish. You can buy a watercooled attachment for the Volcano from Freewheelin' for about $20 i think.I only found that out a couple of days ago.Vapor gets a bit dry on the throat , so the watercooling makes a big difference.PEACEHuge001
Shivan
The verdamper i actually liked the look of more, but it put me off a bit being an overseas store whereas ebay if i get stuffed around i can still get most of my money back, and if were talking 300+ i wanna make sure nothing goes wrong.I might look into the water attachment for volcano tho

Amnesiac
I've tried a mediocre vaporiser before and although the high/stone was still there... it's missing a certain element from the smoking stone I can't quite put my finger on it... but something about weed combusting (and releasing other chemicals) that adds to the overall buzz. Would you vaporiser users agree with me there? (or am I a nut-case? )
huge001
Amnesiac , i thought the same thing when i used a crap dome style vape . But once you use a proper , efficient vape like Volcano , Vrip , Verdamper , you will realise that the high is missing nothing . The high is actually added to , because alot of the essential oils are not being wasted by being burnt away . And the taste is amazing .PEACEHuge001 Edited February 22, 2005 by huge001
F420
Yea, I feel the same way as amnesiac. I have a shit one hot plate sorta thing, If you get it right it does vape correctly but its still missing something. I use it to smoke oil, eg- a pin on the hotplate. To try a good one like the Volcano , Vrip , Verdamper etc. Would probably make me eat those words. Mine smokes still and a good vape runs to 180 and doesnt smoke at all, so I can already see a big difference. What puts me off is that video of a volcano on pot tv, they show it working AND its smoking??? But at around $1000 bucks, bro thats a hell of alot of papers. :smoke
huge001
Ferengi , that video on pot-tv they had the Volcano on setting 9 . Which is way to high . Most people i think use it from 4 - 6 .PEACEHuge001
