itchybromusic Posted February 4, 2021 Report Share Posted February 4, 2021 yeah never heard of the perched water table myself until someone linked to that article always thought if you had the right amount of aeration through a mix it was better to have more food / soil mix in the bottom than stones you might like using blumats mate even though i would say try a good soil mix & water only with them blumats , as i understand them , can distribute synthetic nutrients through the drip lines they not to good with organic liquid nutrients but synthetics are fine i think they say& with blumats , no run off ( i think most drip systems are ok with synthetics , not that i'd really know ) growth rates are pretty good when moisture is constant & perfect , you can never hand water this perfect possible to bring a normal 6 week veg time down to 4 , maybe even 3 weeks works the same at the flower end with increased yields Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
