Hey mate,

 

Mars lights while not the best will get you through to the finish line. I am using one of those spiderfarmer 4000 it's a good light for the price. The new models with a dimmer even better. I personally would am gonna be investing in higher quality lighting once i upgrade.

Mars Hydro ts3000 comes with a dimmer switch do I even need to use that or will I just leave it on full?

yeh most certainly will, i induced some severe light stress on some cuttings put straight under a 450w led. Not sure how many watts that one is drawing but in reality you need 100 or less for propagation through early veg.

yeh i'd go 25% for early veg /clones/ seeds half way for late veg early flower then ramp it up during flower
