I've had problems with the globes b4

Would the globes stop buds forming?

The bulbs are only 1 grow old.

I am giving the tent an extended dark period and checked times are all working properly.

Need advice on what to do now but. The plants are too big, and worried by the time I get these to flower properly, roots might start clogging pipework up.

What are my options apart from starting over?

I agree with the others, either a light leak keeping them vegging, or possibly a bad timer, what kind of timer are you using? I know the ones built into the ballasts can go after a while

Alec times and unknown strain. They are clones from my previous grow.

How many weeks did it take the mother plant to start flowering?

Type of light wont make a difference unless they have some form of light stress which does not seem to be the case.

 

Was it seed or clone? Were the plants in pre flower when you flipped? Depending on the strain they can take weeks to flower if they are not sexually mature when flipped. 

 

Plants don't look overly stressed or unhappy so it either a light leak or the fact that they were not ready when you flipped.
