New to guerilla growing.

Recommended Posts

Main tip, Night. Don't do grows with others. Rarely it goes well, and someone will probably tell others and you end up with the above scenario. Fortunately that year i had another two areas i grew at.

I usually done two or three different grows every season. Simply because the odds are stacked against you. From rippers, animals, weather events, bush fires, insects and so on. you're up against it. Old rule of thumb I'd go by, is germinate and grow up to 100 plants to 1 foot tall, with the plan to end up with 10 or so nice girls. That way you wouldn't be disappointed.

Keep in mind though, this is back in the era of bagseed bush grows. Not like today where you have the luxury of getting good genetics. :)

I learnt that lesson from my "teacher". 1st and most important rule of growing is don't tell ANYONE friends can turn to enemies quickly.

100 plants just to end up with 10? Shit that's terrible odds, with all the things mentioned though it's a valid point to make.

I'll be mostly using bagseed since i don't want to lose genetics that i want to preserve (seedbank seeds). Came from decent buds but yeah don't want to risk losing landraces/heirlooms to all the above mentioned factors that bush growers deal with.

So many variables, mate..

Rarely grew monsters, On a good girl I'd get 2-3lb wet on the bush so at best I'd hit well under lb dried and cured. But if you had a bad season you'd get as little as 2-3oz dried and cured per plant. So on average probably hit around 4-6oz per plant all said and done. But as mentioned, it was all bagseed.

Would've been nice to try my method with some good genetics with a favourable season. :)

Done a share crop with a klown once, primarily to give him an idea how to grow. Coming up to harvest, I informed him that we're about two weeks from pulling them. So the klown and another notso went in and ripped them before we were meant to. Unfortunately for the other notso, he couldn't keep his trap shut and was mouthing off around town until word got back to me.

So, I just bided my time until the following season and repaid him the favour. Some klown's really don't think shit through at times.

So what do you reckon, Dank. Am I a cnut for it, or not?

Just found it funny that you talked about ripping plants and then talk about karma. Also the Jorge thing from the other day popped into my head as well.

If the season seems favorable I'll try giving guerilla growing a go, the info so far provided by all of you is more then enough to get me going (plus what ever else is posted). I've always wanted to try it but just stuck to indoor because of the ease of growing compared to the more hard yakka version of growing.

I don't have the luxury of being able to grow outdoors where i live since it's a rental and I don't like dealing with the stresses of hiding plants to not get caught (that being said don't mind having 1-2 small indoor plants around which is much easier to conceal then big outdoor girls) so for me guerilla growing would be the best option for outdoor growing.

Hopefully we can get somewhere with legalization or just to a point that we can grow 1-6 plants outdoors for personal without having to worry about cops. Don't have to worry about rippers if you don't tell anyone for the most part ( I was able to grow one good outdoor crop at my old mans but since his neighbors have recently moved it's too risky to try that again).

Cheers everyone!

Unfortunately, legal pot or not. Rippers will always exist because they're too useless to grow, or cbf'd growing. Had a old member years ago got rolled, a couple of grubs bailed them up in their house at gunpoint, while others cleaned the yard out. It happens.

Very true, scumbag cunts can't make a living for themselves.

I get the feeling that you might get more, better weed by harvesting a couple of small indoories every couple of months, less risk and hair pulling compared to the bush method. But then, I love bush walking, maybe its about more than just weed.

See what happens but for the most part I'll always be doing indoor, just get better yields/different flavors outside. Yeah walking through the bush is always nice so growing plus being able to go for regular bush walks would be nice, except for the paranoia haha.

We thought we had rippers jumping our fence at night and taking buds until hubby hid and found out the possums were eating the super sweet sticky buds. Dam plants are frikin high THC that we bred. No wonder the possums haven't been on the roof much. Ripper possums to stoned to go up that high.
