Oh well. Was basically doing this first run as a trial. It's for personal use only, and I should yield somewhere in the vicinity of half a pound for two plants. At least I'll know for next time.

 

 

 

I agree the name is stupid. It seems the indoor growing industry is very much aimed toward men. I emailed Canna and got sent a soft porn calendar, which is either amusing or bemusing depending on your take (I'm in the former category while my partner's in the latter).

 

The Bitch'n was recommended to me by the guy at the grow shop when I told him about the strain's propensity for herming. I wish I used an easier strain (which would have finished by now), but considering I didn't I'm glad I used the additive. Better to have smokable, albeit inferior, product than a tent full of useless seeds and then buying commercial stuff which likely has more harmful additives.

 

I'm still interested to know how it works. Plants turn the ethephon into ethanol, which they produce anyway. It has also seemed to limit stretch. As for speeding up the ripening as advertised, I'm on day 59 and still have at least a week which would seem about standard. Noticed the first amber trichomes yesterday, most are cloudy and there's probably triple the amount of clear trichomes to amber.

 

I'm due to refill my res on Sunday (day 61). Will flushing for longer help get back any of the genetic traits? I'm planning on flushing using only Canna Boost.

You should put the name of the shop up so people know not to go there. Telling people to use pgr's. Fuckwit.

From what I've read and observed over my obsessive internet research . Nute brands and the majority of the bottled nutes are bollocks.try megacrop for a grow and see if ya still think ya need all those bottled nutes. It's all just Npk micros and kelp haha

I don't really want to put the name of the shop up. He's actually been pretty good. He only suggested the Bitch'n when I asked about preventing herming, has talked me out of wasting money on other things I don't need and is upfront with what his margin is. Actually far cheaper than any other shop in my area, and there's a few.

 

He said he sells a reasonable amount of it, but I think he mostly sells to commercial growers who are only concerned with yield and getting to the end of the grow without any problems.

 

Anyone know about whether I should flush longer to try get some taste, or is it not worth it?
