Is this grow on the right path?

Recommended Posts

rule of thumb for everything really , don't over use neem , considering it is an oil & too much in soil could cause some issues

it's not that easy to break down , not that it doesn't break down just not that quick when allot is used regularly

also mix oils up , don't let pests & pathogens get used to a single oil , try rosemary oil foliar pest spray or thyme oil as a foliar fungicide

saponins form aloe or soapnuts can be used as a pest spray on there own as well as emulsifying oils & putting something on a plant

that it enjoys unlike dish soap emulsifier

most but not all oils are contact killers , if you don't spray the pest directly it has very lill effect , the environment breaks down most oils on leaves pretty quick

make sure to get good coverage , & never spray oils on a plant with lights on or outdoors while sun is on the plant , oils + hot sun = frying

setting up a IPM is pretty important , don't wait to see bugs B4 spraying to control them , once or better twice a week preventative sprays

will help to keep you pest free , yellow sticky traps are a good visual on pest presents & a sign you need to go to work on them the moment you see one

stuck to the trap

btw can't remember all the detail but i'm sure google has the info if you do some searching , neem oil poisoning & side effects for humans

you can always use bugs to fight bugs http://www.goodbugs.org.au/Good%20bugs/rovebeetle.html
