Try Blu
Used to have compost worms in there, black soldier flies took over for a while then they were taken over by some sort of invisible eating monster. Haha. Doesn’t smell bad and it eats heaps. Tipped and mixed into garden. Compost turned into final position. Another month or so may see it done. Farmers(ants) protecting their flock (aphids). The good guys on the offensive. Snapped the hover fly laying attack maggots. . Yellow shouldered ladybugs getting busy. A few sprouts making their way into the ground. Had to protect the sunflower seedlings as they were being eaten. Floppy fence to keep the possums out. Looks a little strange but works well. Slowly getting there. Need some work on the eucalypts and I’ll be ready to rock. Yay. Sp* Edited August 24, 2018 by Try Blu

Random tomato plants starting to spring up here also. It’s the bush rats and birds etc over the years munching away and spreading seeds all through my patch. I will throw some bok choy in or something similar mid way through summer. They usually get smashed by pillars here. Im Interested in seeing if all these flowers I’m trying to grow will make much of a difference to that. Some exotic sounding canna there Itchy. Some good mates.Look forward to seeing what you do and how you do it.Good luck with it all.

Try Blu
Few random shots of early spring flowers in the garden. Wooly aphids getting smashed by horny ladybirds. Happy days. Brought the missus down to the garden to show her also.......hoping the ladybug rutting would rub off on her. Wishful thinking........ The sun is starting to find more time to shine on my patch, perfect cue for some mulch shortly I suppose.Another couple of weeks and I’ll throw some canna seeds down. Yay for the fun.
