Mars Reflector 192

Recommended Posts

Do not buy a mars light for love of canna... I have experience with ref and m2 series and neither are worth your money. The led diodes used are the oldest style and cheapest nastiest variety available, epistar to be specific.

Not to say they can't grow canna its just that newer LEDs are much much better. Building the same light with the newest chips and a quality driver would dramatically increase your output efficacy.

The main problem with the reflector series aside from being outdated inefficient diodes are that they are underpowered. Not enough diodes bottom line. They grow fluffy product unless your space is packed with them, at which point is useless as a single cob could light an entire tent efficiently.

Your mars II's on the other hand are very capable of growing chunky monkeys but consume more watts and give more heat, the least of its issues though. The diodes are all placed too close together with not enough airflow coupled with outdated and inefficient chips the blue diodes always burn on these lights, they literally melt!... I'm surprised pics of burnt out mars 2 aren't all over this forum.

So here's a $500 lesson.

If your looking to fill 1.2m2 with mars light... Don't! If you've pulled the trigger on one already I would be looking to pull the wool over their eyes and get a refund.

Lore i would like to see your single COB that lights up a 3.5x3.5 foot space as u are comparing it to the Mars 192 which does 3.5x3.5 foot

I've said this before if u want big buds under the epistar led's u need good genetics with big buds in its genes otherwise you will just piss in the wind and get popcorn buds that is why u see a lot of shit reviews online about the Mars lights
