Mars Reflector 192

Recommended Posts

Hi Mates

I'm just getting my gear together for my first grow. I am looking  at led lights for a couple of reasons.

I was in a hydro shop today looking at lights and the bloke recommended this - https://www.mars-hydro.com/buy-mars-reflector-192-led-grow-light-forsale

I have a 1.2x1.2x2.0M tent. The hydro bloke reckoned the reflector 192 unit was perfect for my tent.

The price was ok too but it's around $120 cheaper on ebay, but you know, stealth.

Has anyone used one of these at all. Are they worth a punt?

Another one I was looking at was this - https://pakenhamhydroponics.com.au/spider-cob-led-grow-light-600-watts.html

It's more expensive but I am led (lol) to believe it's a much better unit.

So, what do you reckon.

Currently growing with the mars II 900w with mars tent. Great for keeping the tent cool/cooler then hps ect...

Good setup for a first timer. I'd look at the prices thru the mars advertisement on this site. I got mine from eBay and could of saved a few more dollars if I'd went thru this site.

I'm happy to discuss the pros/cons I've found using mars equipment.

Cheers, Dog

I’ve been growing under mars lights for a while now. I chose them because they cost less to run and are waaaay cooler which means I don’t have to put in other equipment. (I am lucky enough to be able to leave tent open for natural ventilation with just one pedestal fan). I think my crops could be a bit heavier, but I can’t complain because I grow autos and only have lights on for 12hrs/day to avoid light pollution.
