Remember the gold stamped Jamaican hash in the red cellphone paper?or the png gold from New Guniea,or even the old pure sensimilla from the northern nsw ..Those were the days we would drive to a place called Grevillia in northern nsw and score a paper bag full of the evil ist sinsy buds for $150 ..old mate never even use to weigh it he would just fill up the bag.....it was nothing to get an ounce and a half or more in a bag..sometimes he would have bags of what he would call seedy head ,you would be lucky to get 10 seeds in a bag,and then he would say that if we keep the seeds for him he will swap them for buds..now I no why..bring back the original sinsemilla I reckon..

Sorry mate,I should have said the old sinsy buds that had a real strong smell similar to lantana ..you couldn't hide it anywhere in the house...had to clean the resin of your scissors constantly..smooth on the way in ,followed by a bit of a cough 8 seconds after you exhale...

A little info on triche colours .

 

So it makes sense not to let a sativa go far beyond a small amount of amber. Why ruin a good high.

I've also read that some sativa strains don't get much amber anyway.
