Nice row of green here GQ. Very lush and vibrant. We had sun here all day yesterday and back to overcast all day. No sun with chance of late thunderstorm today. Was supposed to get rain late yesterday and only got 0.2mm. Hopeless.

Hopefully it will come and go fast GQ. Just keep an eye on the BOM radar and also satview.bom.gov.au is good for cloud coverage etc.

Thanks for that timmy, i love a good thunderstorm i just dont want the damaging ones but its kinda pretty well part and parcel for my area,i only just this morning went around and untied all the plants from there stakes il probably have to go back and tie em all up again arghhh the joys

That’s a bugger. Well as you know I have two babies so they are ok, but the lowryder I still have loosely tied to a small stake as here is intermittent wind here a bit lately. Late last night the wind was hitting from the east and the plant was ok buts leaves were feeling the full brunt. Staring at it just stressed me so i just went to bed . It’s ok this morning.

 

Well best to be safe than sorry and then you can put your mind at rest. Youn know how it goes. You restake them and the storm will go around you. You don’t stake them and you get hail .

Hail is just so devastating, i have had crops in the past totally destroyed by it, totally minced up so you couldn't even recognize them, not a real lot you can do about either, except :tantrum:

Yep me too zeuss just smashed to the ground last time it happened i was lucky it was still early in the season so i replanted but the yield was not as good as it should of been but i was lucky to get anything really so im not complaining and as sure as shit i am going to get that storm this afternoon 97% chance and its building up and moving fast,just my luck,ive just been around and tied all plants in pots back to there stakes not much i can do for the ones in the ground but hope for the best now
