all good yeah give it a try and see if you prefer it that way, lots of people do prefer that option, some like the taste and say its a cleaner taste, not sure whats happening with the red but shatter is good you could always use a scale to measure up dosages if you cant get it into a syringe and want accuracy, bad taste hmmm dunno i dont really like the taste at best of times i like to slice of a bit of frozen oil and take it like a tablet or in a bit of bread and swallow like a tablet anything to avoid it getting on my teeth, look like a real redneck with a few black teeth and it really sticks on lol

I wont use the sunny method my self.

 

All that UV that is bleaching the green out is at the same time degrading the oil.

 

This can still be done but with out putting in direct sun light it just tales a little longer, the green will brake down and all you will have is a nice amber color oil...

yeah like i said the esky method as a good alteratitive to sunny method basicly the same but no light involved but it does take longer yeah or if your in a hurry just cook it off beening very careful about fumes of course, for anyone thats never made rso before cooking it is high risk of explosion so you must take the utmost care not to have fumes building up and absolutely no flames or sparks, it does sound scary but can be managed easily by making sure your in well ventilated area ect outdoors or i do mine in a large shed with all the doors and windows open and a fan blowing over the iso mixture to prevent fumes building up, even outdoors i use a fan to push those fumes away and again absolutely no sparks of flames, if your a smoker hide the lighters before starting i put mine far far away from where im working because its just habit to light it without thinking so i just like to put them away before starting just to be sure

i tryed doing one batch inside the house bob but i didnt like the smell of the fumes in my house and also i had a few complaints from peoples inside so had to shed or outdoors and i feel safer out there to just incase something did go wrong i know im not going to hurt anybody else or burn the house down

like i mentioned bob theres a few variables that can make a difference there like the size bowl temps ect but it can take anywhere from a day or two up to a week

I often use an esky for iso oil too. It works well. However I have a reptile heat mat in there set to 30C. With the lid sat on top on an angle it seems to evap from my deep dish in a few days, compared to well over a week sitting at room temperature. When in a hurry I use a water bath on the stove top and it is done in 10 mins. But it seems to me a slower evap makes a better end product, for non decarbed oil anyway. It may not matter as much if you are decarbing for oral consumption.
