now if your a wholesaler you expect a margin from your supplier so you don't buy at the US retail price , just as you would as a retailer buying from your wholesaler

even if you do the conversion & factor in a reasonable margin shipping & poss tax , someone seems to be needing to cash in cos that's BS

it is also poss the Oz wholesalers are not buying direct from the manufacturer & having to go though a middle man , either way i ain't paying those prices

 

just disappointing you have to keep looking OS for better prices , just got some method 7's saved around $40au buying from amazon , US

i'd rather spend my money here considering someone here has already spent there money OS , but not at the currant state of play

 

i accept paying a bit more for OS items but sort it out retailers cos you ain't getting my bucks until you do , of cause each to there own

with how & where you spend your money , the world is a much smaller place with the intrawebs , we have much more choice than ever B4

& the Ozzy hydro retail game ain't cutting the mustard IMHO

 

Quality products at reasonable prices

I import so I understand this. Wholesaler expect 40% profit from sales. Retailers want 80-100% and yes some are greedy and want 120+%. So just as example $29000 usd is $37700 aud. Import costs and gst is $6100. So 40% of my sales is $15080 - $6100....I walk away with $8980.....but take in consideration transport/fuel to melb port to get stock, wages, phones, power, insurances etc And how long is this turn around? usually 2-3mth. But now I walk into shops and I know the mark up sometimes ridiculous but guess we don't know what their over heads are either, how often do the sell the product etc. I know if I didn't own my own warehouse I couldn't keep running if I had to pay rent.

I have never really looked into the Black Dog led i just assumed for there price they were built in a country other than china usually USA built gear cost a mint.. i would love to try one but unless i win bingo i won't be buying one , if i had the choice i probably would run 4 mars hydro II 400w lights in a 1x1m tent over 1 Black Dog led for the same price

 

its been proven if u bung one of these manufacturered led's in a smaller area than they were designed for u get really good results

 

my mate done it, mojo is doing it and others have done it but its when u start stretching the lights out over there claimed area they cover they turn to shit
