A few issues and maybe a big one.

Recommended Posts

I just went down and had a ruffle. There was only about 50% of the amount there was yesterday with a lot of dead bodies from the light.
Of those 50% I probably got half of them landing on the bulb again and dieing.
I've get those strips but also give it a vege oil spray just before lights outs and leave big fan in there

Ok so the beer doesn't work with whiteflies but it works very well for fruit flies.
I stuck one in the tent, nothing, one outside near my citrus that were coping some flack and the thing was full. Emptied and then again full.
If it's cold outside where you live, nuke the beer until it's warm and then before you put it down you'll have them swarming over it.

I got those yellow strips from Bunnings for the whiteflies and they work a treat for catching the adults. Give the branches a shake and then direct them towards the strips.
I obviously have some eggs and cut off as many leaves as I could see that had them.
Being the little time I have left before pick( about 2 and  half weeks for the pineapple,4 and 1/2 for teh Lemon) I was thinking of just monitoring it over 3 days to see how many adult remain before spraying? Thoughts?

1 week ago when I was unaware of what was happening, there would 100's of them when I brushed against the plant.
Now with the light killing them and then the yellow strips I'm down to about 10 when I go through, end of today I hope none.
Then I watch for eggs

Thanks everyone for your help

I'm the same, avoid spraying this late in flower if you can help it, but you also don't want those little white fuckers running rampant on your plants, they do some damage and leave a horrible residue behind.  Worst I'd do at this stage is give the plants a good shake at lights off and spray the air above the plants with a little pyrethrum, but shaking and directing to sticky traps might be enough for a couple of weeks.

Best of luck
