am looking at a light kit on ebay its the Lighting Kit HPS Flower Gavita 600w + Lumatek Digital Ballast + Bat Wing Reflect, is this a good one ? its $ 369.95

Have you thought about heat though?  Cooltube or cool vent hood may be better option inside a tent.

 

If you are growing from seed you might want a different more economic light to start things off. Like CFL, LED or T5 and if you plan to have a decent veg time you may also want to consider buying a MH bulb for the kit above so that you have MH for veg and HPS for flower.

awesome thanks Gazza, can u recommend somewhere to get it or can i just get it all of ebay ? does the hyperfan do the same job as a cool tube ?

Ebay is probably the cheapest but get a mate or relo to buy it for u and get it delivered to there house is best option

yeah no worries can get it sent to my parents place, was just looking at the Hydroponics Grow Light Kit Cool Tube Reflector 250-1000w MH HPS Ballast Yoyo Kit in 600w digital on ebay for $284. 43 do u think that would be any good ?

Up that to a 200mm Hyper Fan and filter unless your content with a little bit of jet engine whine.  The 150 will do the job easily, but the 200 won't even be working itself hard at minimum speed, drawing plenty of air and running basically silent.  150 isn't loud, just starts to whine at very little over minimum speed.  Probably ok inside a house if nobody goes near the room, but suspiciously noticeable in an outbuilding in the middle of the night, so depends on the level of stealth you need.
