MyDX is A SCAM, period. It's good for investors with no clue and don't mind losing all their money, but useless for anyone with a cannabis sample.

 

Check out its stock prices if you want a laugh, and do some googling about the guy behind it (Daniel Yazbeck).

 

btw the first clue it's a scam is it won't tell you ANYTHING about your sample without phoning out to the Internet ... sorry but that's crossing a red line for me.

Even when it does report back, all basically says is "Your sample smells like <insert a few strain names here, and show their completely-unrelated THC and CBD levels>".

It tells you NOTHING about your actual strain, just other peoples strains that it thinks is similar to yours - which it only does by a "sniff test" of some sort. It does NOT test genetics, and it does NOT test cannabinoid levels. To the best of my knowledge there is currently no such thing as a handheld device for accurately checking THC/CBD levels of a sample, and the devices people use to properly test like mass spectrometry are bulky, expensive, and require some expertise.
