Depends on who you ask

 

cannabis can suppress your immune system, for many that is a great thing

that is what drugs like prednisone do to us too (prednisone is a hateful drug, but very much needed by many)

Suppression tells our body's to stop fighting infections and to take a break. (over-simplified)

 

example kidney transplant patients needs to suppress their immune system -to keep it from rejecting the new kidney - cannabis may help with this

 

CBD (a component of cannabis) may actually work to strengthen the immune system and as an anti inflammatory too (kinda all related)

 

-so yes, cannabis could increase our 'immunity system' (but don't expect miracles)

I personally think cannabis helps it in some way, as I rarely get sick. Even the common cold barely comes my way.

No, cannabis oil (onit's own) will not "cure" a cancer.
