We have the owners of our house doing an inspection in 3 and a half weeks and it doesn't look like our harvest will be ready by then.

 

So the backstory... we are in Melbourne and we have planted either a lemon haze or mango haze seed (got them mixed up and dont know which one it is) and it is our first time growing. Basically just stuck the seed straight into the garden patch and the plant is about 190cm tall and flowering. Where the buds will be we have lots of white hairs.

 

It is flowering and the white hairs have started to change color, from white hairs to being white with brown tips.

I read that either of those strains usually have a long flowering period.

 

So the inspection is 3 weeks away and I have a few questions...

Is there any way to speed up the flowering process so we can harvest sooner?

What happens if we harvest early? Will this ruin the bud?

Is it possible to move the plant? This will require digging up the roots from the garden patch.

In 3 weeks, if we trim all the leaves off the plant (so it will look a lot less obvious) will it keep flowering? Or will this ruin the final product?

 

 

We are trying to get the inspection pushed back, but I dont think they are budging. Does anyone have any ideas? It will be such a shame that it is a matter of a couple of weeks. Any help will be greatly appreciated!

I wouldnt write off the glad wrap just yet, its a lot cooler now, inspections take fuck all time, they wanna get outta there as fast as they can. so ur plant need only be wrapped for half hour or less. With the colder mornings coming now, i dont see any of the problems occurring that were mentioned, im too lazy to find the post

its a house inspection , 

I f everything else is sweet, theres really no need to draw attention to it (although some subtle cmoflage isa good idea)

make the house perfect and the yard awesome, and there really shouldnt be a reason for a plant inspection .

 

Dont move it

Dont try and finish it early.

Just leave it there and work with it, or rip it out if you havent got the stones for a bluff.

The inspection has long passed, as this thread was from March.

Also, not true. My agent always inspects the whole property, including the back yard to make sure it's being maintained. It's a "property" inspection, not a "house" inspection. Of course they can and will look in the yard.

well of course you are right , kinda.

It depends on your experience, it seems .

In 40 years of renting many places , I cant recall a time when the Inspectors toured the yard . . . To me , the focus has always been on the wear and tear to the dwelling.

And even though they CAN inspect the whole property,

To suggest that its likely your landlord will be waiste deep in garden ,, inspecting away. . . is also generic and false. . . IME

But, as you so accurately point out, this is long past . . . 

The reason I replied was because I didnt realise that it was old.
