Pure
There are definatly allot of tools out there that can do this job for people, and if you have a reccomended application or method please feel free to add it here because it gives the readers a choice I chose gimp because it can do allot more than resize and if they ever wanted to do graphics then gimp is probably one of the best free options out there EDIT: duh, forgot the addy... *slaps forehead* Irfanview.com
Luke Skywalker
I use Irfanview, really easy; as in I can use it, really cheap; as in free, and really good; as in it works. A 2mp piccie downsizes to around 100kb at about 700pixels wide. Sometimes more, sometimes less, depends on the shot, but yeah, pretty good.
