Changing light run times

Hi All,

 

Its been getting a bit hot here so I was thinking of changing my light on period from during the day to during the night. Currently I run it 5am - 11pm, and would like to change it to approx 3pm - 9am. When I change to flower I wanted to run it on from 7pm - 7am.

Is it ok to just change my times like this? Is there a better way of doing it? Or should I just wait till its ready to flower and just change it then?

the best way is to sort it B4 you start 

you can run your lights for 24hrs then change to new times so the lights turn off at the new time & back on at new time 

really once the time is set you really shouldn't change it , your only possibly freaking the plant out & possible hermi's 

 

i run 16hr days from 4:30pm to 8:30am in veg & 4:30 to 4:30 in flower , light on times never change but light off times do  

 

what about your environment if your having heat issues , they ain't going away , even at nite as summer rolls on
