Potting mix with slow release fertiliser is perfect for growing cannabis. My mate grows indoors in 100% potting mix with great success.

 

There's so much information and products out there its easy to get confused. Keep it simple! You don't see big commercial nurserys running all sorts of fancy shit.

 

 This girl is grown in Scotts Osmocote multi purpose potting mix, $14.95 for a 50L bag from Bunnings. Its quite a hot mix so no extra fertilising required until the plant starts to flower. I mix in 20% perlite and give nothing but tap water and the odd dose of Seasol. Not using Seasol any more since I found out how much it raises the pH. This plant is flowering now and I have started 1/2 strength flower nutes twice a week.

I got osmocotes seed and cutting mix for the seedlings.. and when i repot they are going into a soil/perlite/chicken shit mix thats been cooking for a few weeks.

Be careful with how much chook shit you put in.
