arrrg guys bloody things

white ants are eatin into the stem..any natural fixes...rather that, than chemicals

 

tried some vinegar,see how we go,hopefuly gets them runnin and and dont mess with the ph too much

 

already lost one branch,

 

any suggestins much appriciated

I have a black ant problem and have been using her chilli oil idea -mix chill oil with dish soap and a few drops of pure peppermint extract - I use as a preventative measure (it's cheap, organic and effective) it's a poor person's eco oil.
 

it's less expensive to buy a package of chill flakes (verses fresh) put chill flakes into glass jar, fill jar with oil to cover chillie's , the longer it sits the hotter the oil gets 

 

don't use this as a spray on flowering plants tho it can be used to flush/water containers well into flower

It's not natural but it works

 

White ants = ammonia to rid them , place it on the ground black plastic then your pot plant . Hope this helps

hey guys yea ive spread garlic black pepper,chiili,bicarb and icing sugar,squirt of vinegar and water,hoping they aint gone further up the stem,no sign of them but the damage been done,will keep the ammonia in my mind for next trip to town...pics on my other page southern hemisphere,fresh start...
