I have bottles of termidor that would kill the lot of them,  but not sure how safe it would be to use, it works excellently as a preventative if you could get it for future use, you could dig a trench round your area and flood it with diluted chemical, but again not sure how safe it would be to use.

Very fucking sad day Oz.  I can only begin to imagine how you would feel after all the time and effort you've put into her, and if you're like me you will have formed a bit of an emotional attachment to her as well.  Got me fingers crossed for you, just wish I had a solution.

well she offically changed breed

 

she now cactus.. gotta keep a sense of humour young blokes more devoed than me,..

 

but yea she a shame,thats the trials of it all

me and the young bloke was sayin how she was that strong never showed any signs till it was too late,

 

guessin theve come up from underneath,ringbarked the main stem just below soil line,was like rubber,theyd got right under the first layer of bark,havin chopped her completly,go down tmoz and end it all...,get some pics up 2moz,for those brave enough to look....

 

gonna be busy on the bubble bags thats for sure. ...

I don't know that I want wanna look at today's picture show...I can understand how gutted you are...I was looking at the shots of the trunk and that is one big momma of a root system it a real shame we didn't get to see the whole show and only got a glimpse of her potential. I am sure you can do it again and I bet you wouldn't want to be a termite within a mile of it next season or any other bug for that matter.
