I have to agree with the Solis Tek 2k HPS bulb.

I used to always run the GE Luca Grow bulbs because they were lovely and yellow and yield well.... cheap too!
The Philips Son -T's had better finishing, but didn't produce the yield of the Luca's so you would change out the Luca to Son-T for the last week or 2.

I use Solis Tek Ballasts and they play up with the Luca's... same thing you get, fine when fresh, then sensor issues about 3 weeks after

The Solis Tek guys have a big wank about "Low Iron Glass" in their bulbs... but I have found them to be able to get the yield of the Luca with the finishing of the Son-T... actually better than both.

Add this to Solis Tek Digital ballast and they are fantastic! Especially running "Solis Boost" halfway through flower

They have been the best HPS I have seen... only surpassed by Gavita

Obliterated, You can get solis tek hps and metal halide. They are on their website but unfortunately the don't sell from their website and it is turning out to be a bitch to find a 400w solistek hps on the net for sale. I am thinking I may just ask my local hydro shop if he can order one in for me.

 

I don't know about that one on ebay, it says its hps in the title and metal halide in the description...
