my last grow was the same, light airy buds. but the grow before that they were tight hard nugs. clones off the same mother same nutes.same medium, same every thing ! i don't get it. lol

How many grows have you done with the globe? Loose buds can also be a sign of a worn out globe so it's best to only do 3 – 4 crops before changing it as they lose their effectiveness fairly rapidly after that, I use mine for a maximum of 3 grows.

what kind of lighting do you use ?? .. its a well know fact that HPS

lighting is how you get dense buds ... as for high levels of (k20)

aka potash = its really not needed .. I've been using a mix of 5-10-5

, 0-7-0 for a long time now & my plants are Very happy & have huge cola's .....

IMO its all in the p205 =

so tom might have it right when he said .. you could have a depleted

lighting system ... I change my Hortilux bulb every 9-10 months ..

Peace & good luck with your grow ..

Hey porkchop,

it may have something to do with your timing, summer's humidity can destroying roots by both burning and giving ideal conditions for root disease. Once there screwed it's like pushing shit up hill. Another reason could have been lights getting in during the dark periods, which will cause fast maturity of small loose buds . Was the plants stretching or running with lots of little buds, did it take as long as it did last time to finish? Was there any signs that the plant was stressed? As for products that will produce golf balls, try p-k(I think) from canna it works a treat, however there is another product that blitzers everything else. It use to be called u-turn when it orginal brought out( it cost close to 1000 for a set). It was refined and brought out by another company who has now pulled it off the shelf due to government regulations. It was selling for about $180 a set. What it would do is put your plant into head straight away, instead of taking 2 weeks it would take 2 day to start forming flowers. From there the plant would mass produce flowers like you would not believe. Reports where coming in of yield increasing from between 35-70%, while taking 7-14 days less to finish. Hope this helps?
