Hey mate,

For fans I got 'can' branded fans, i've got a 125mm centri doing a 1.2x12x2m tent just fine

Thanks mate,

Found a can fan for $190 with these specs, is it a good deal?  Comes with a free silencer.

FAN MODEL RPM * VOLTS MAX WATTS MAX AMPS. MAX PS

There's no such thing as free, especially with hydro gear.  Also silencers are shit for the price being asked.  They definitely make a difference but you can get a fan speed controller for 1/3 the price and it will have 10x the silencing effect.  Insulated ducting is also half the price of silencers and is as effective as the silencer if not more so in stealthing up your grow.  My advice to you would be to get a 200mm fan over a 150mm one because it will have the potential to move a lot more air during summer if its needed and when moving the same amount of air the 200mm fan will run considerably quieter.  If $200 is your price range I would recommend the fans I use which are 200mm Blauburg turbo inline fans.  People rage on about centrifugal fans but my fans almost blew my 2yo daughter on her arse from a couple of meters away and I've never had to run them over 40% on the lowest setting with 2x 600w hps for lighting.  In the tent with a single 600w hps in it I had to turn the fan up to about 25% just so the carbon filter would work properly because before that I had it far too low in order to keep the temperature a bit higher.  They're insanely good, relatively cheap and come with a 5 year warranty which for a product I believe was made in Germany is kind of a moot point but still worth mentioning.

where can I get one doc?  i have a growlush speed controller that came with the growlush vent fan.

ETA: This is about as good as I can do with ventilation outflow without cutting 6inch holes in the robe shelf and ceiling.  Can't do that in this rental unit.

Don't have enough horizontal room to move the CF filter up and horizontal.  I could put it up about 1ft higher on top of a milk crate...would that help much?  Not going to help much with one of the robe doors partway open to fit the exhaust duct out the top.

Since alterations are out I would replace one of the original doors with a new one that you can cut into.  You can run your exhaust out the door that way and come inspection time you can just put the old one back up :)

I got my fan off ebay.  My local hydro guy scared me into buying a super fancy speed controller to go with it but I recently tried a growlush controller on it and it actually worked better than the fancy one lol

Jeez, that was fast!  48hrs in shot glasses with tap water and 36hrs in wet, used #2 tissue!  must have been the #2's that had them grow so fast! :)

Oh, and I decided not to replace the door but block the window which faces a major street with block out window shade.  That should keep the light from the windows with the doors open.

So, Doc...any recommendations where I can get one here in VIC online or on ebay?  i checked ebay but nada.  Else, I'll go with that other can fan branded one.

ach, it was spelled wrong it's Blauberg.  Now, these are in mm, which one is 6 inches?  will the 150mm fit the 6 inch duct and carbon filter?
