maximum light per plant

Recommended Posts

Photosynthesis is a complex and not yet fully understood process but as evidenced by the picture if heat is controlled and other important factors such as nutrient uptake are within the right parameters it's possible to get the light almost touching the plant.

As for maximum light, Krusty used to run huge lighting for minimum plants. I've pushed 1600w on a single plant using vert and shaded lighting.

The pic in the previous post was a regular sized bedroom, 3 x 4 or therabouts but didn;t quite use the whole space. The 1000w cooltube was ducted directly from a/c so it was frosty and i didn't bother exhaust out of the room as the air was still chilly after passing the bulb.

This picture was a smaller space, just the corner of a room and whilst it was getto in appearance at the time of the pic i was burning 1200w and had em close.
