Bush bagseed adventure!

Recommended Posts

Damn that looks like straight clay dude!!!

I would reccomend incorporating around 30% organic material into that hole, to try and improve the structure of that soil and hopefully increase the drainage! I would be ammending a large hole, as I can forsee the roots of your plants having a hard time going from ammended soil into that clay. So you might be growing in a pot in the ground so make it the size ya want!!!

Uts like a mix of leaf matter, red dirt and clay, the first 20 cm of dirt is pretty aerated, as when I dug the shovel out it was full of holes and not as moist as the rest,

The holes are still going to be a bit bigger, good size holes = good size plants

Cheers dude! Yeah I am goin to loosen it up and mix with diffent soil and clay breaker, would that work?

I tend to stay away from gypsum when I can, you can do quite abit damage to the soil structure.

id definitely build up and mix with good compost even go get some river sand and wash the shit out of it to remove pathogens

you could even get some fertilized loam of the poppy fields most of the nurseries sell it buy the bag or bulk product
