can i use stainless steel with hydro nutrients

as the title asks

i just scored a big, deep tray made from stainless steel and i figured it would be good for a big flood an drain table for my babes

but was unsure of compatibility of dissolved nutrient salts with stainless, searched but found not much

do appreciate any informed replies thanks

just doing a quick search here, i did find this link that mentions half way down that when scratched, stainless steel does leach iron nickel and in the process steel...




not sure whether these metals would hurt though...
