New Growth Red?

Recommended Posts

I would like to confirm this, in pictures, same strain, one indoors, one out, outside temps dipped as low as 4° Celsius some nights.attachicon.gif20130522_145935.jpgattachicon.gif1366949558438.jpg

To be honest, thought it might have been the differentials between natural and artificial light that caused it, maybe a bit of both?

WOW... Are they the same strains... That is an amazing difference in colour. the lime green one looks really solid.

One cause of this condition is when the plants are living in very cold conditions, they will take on a redish or purple color.

Buzzo is correct, I find most of the plants i am working with in winter will take on a reddish to purple color and some in the past even went a beautiful blue color :) interesting fact for those growing autos.. to extend the veg period lower the temps ;)
