The interest I have in this company is they are the next ballasts I'm going to purchase. If I had new free ballasts I wouldn't be using one digital growlush and one magnetic growlush.

 

I thought my above post made it quite clear I haven't used them. The intention of making that clear in the above post is they could be shit for all I know. I thought it might be helpful to mention what I decided on after much research though.

 

How about contributing something instead of being an arrogant dickhead?

Hey I think I need to explain more in my post to others.

 

I've always had trouble communicating to others face to face, and when it comes down to messages I type what I would say to your face. Look mate I'm only a young bloke 23 in dec, work hard, have a daughter who i see every second weekend, don't have many friends due to the fact most people my age haven't got a clue, and I always say what I'm thinking straight up to thier face making them feel uncomfortable even though its the right thing to say or question.

 

Over time I've come to realise most not all people my age are still in this trance of going out getting fuked up all the time, living off each pay from week to week getting no where until they are late 20 mid 30s were they have to finally wake up. We're is I've started early to finish early.

 

My original post was pretty much a lame joke if u can believe it.

I've seen the ad on here for the ballasts, you are apart of the moderating team I've just put the two in my head and thought as a joke you advertise for them like I said lame

 

Hope this clears things up

I am using a dimmable lumatek ballast . Does both 400 w and 600 w . I run 400 mh for veg and 600w Phillips  Son t for flower . I got the lamp and ballast from ebay for a good price from memory . Scan ebay for good prices on tents and lights .

 

Advanced horticultural systems have good prices on ebay and are located at noosa . They allow for pickup also to avoid paying for delivery fee .

hey haze 420 you sorta sound like me I also have trouble writing stuff to other members and im always worried if it came out wrong.

I am using a 400w Lumatek and do the same as Badseed on a reduced scale of course...I'm in a small space. Its been faultess, Using a Lucagrow now with a Son-T on in the wings.  If you can shell out the bucks its worth it. 

 

I would add that as a few have mentioned if you can't afford it straight up you can go one of the cheaper digital or magnetic ballasts.  Before I was able to purchase the equipment I am using now, I was geared up to buy a cheap 250 or 400 magnetic just to get going.  It was a Blessing funds became available so I got some better stuff.  Main thing is to get your grow fix   (I mean it )

@vostok, have you bought anything from amazon? i was looking at getting my bluelab testers and a light hood from amazon but when i added to my cart it said that the items couldnt be shiped to me. dose anyone know why bluelab a newzealand company costs more to buy in australia than the USA?

 

@badseed77, have you been to Advanced horticultural systems, seems like a decent store? i am on the sunny coast and am thinking about checking it out but ive never been in a hydro shop, would they be suss on a 20yo bloke buying hydro gear? if their friendly and helpful id be a loyal customer.

 

@stix87, i knew a guy in high school who used to use this site for info, he woulda been 16 when he did his first grow, so deffs not the youngest grower

 

@vinno, yeah i was thinking about the growlush digital ballast and bulbs would get me started but if its only an extra 100bones or so to get a couple more years use im better of going all out from the start. i really just need to pull my head in and get my first grow under my belt.
