Hey all.

So i have been wondering if there is a light colour/spectrum that can be used during lights out time?

I went searching and read an article on another site/forum where a grower said he used a standard green coloured bulb in his grow space if he needed to do any work during the lights out period. And that it hadn't affected the plants cycle at all. :scratchin: ?

Can anyone shed anymore light on tthe subject? ;)

Mate, lol , they nuffin special, just hydro marketing of products on E-gay again.... 80w screw in floodlamp (green) from bunnings does the job. I used one for a few grows, never had a problem.

Get the 80wer, lower wattage just makes it real hard to see.... green is not our prefered spectrum for sight.

Dont let them fool you into thinking greenlights are anything special.

It wont affect ya plants using it, I was going in 4-5 times a day with it.

Just remember, its opening the door and getting direct light on ya plants in flower thats the killer, watch for that.

Peace. Nibbler
