So, seems to be something a bit funky going on with these, and I don't want it to get to a point of no return and total death !

I'm guessing its a deficiency of some sort, and my gardening is hit and miss inexperienced and often impatient haha !

Some of the leaves seem to be burning up a bit/yellowing.

The plants are in some smaller pots nestled within larger pots and walled with some straw/soill (to keep them cool outdoors in this lovely summer weather we are having of late)

Soil is just "Baileys Premium Potting Mix" and I've on and off watered them with a small mix of Seasol diluted with distilled water.

For the most part its been distilled water all the way, but, having recently run out, tap water has been the go as well as the odd bit of rain here and there.

You will notice there are some fertiliser granules present also, a small amount as directed on the container) as I thought that might "help the problem" (though I'm starting to think it might only be making it worse !?)

For the most part things seem fine, but, didn't want to risk it.

All and any help much appreciated :)

gday mate. looks like you have some nice buds starting to thicken up there. I am not a seasoned grower and I am sure they will be along in no time to help. I have to say though, all of my nute problems ended when I stated using cannabis specific nutrients. If you go to your local hydro store they will sell you the perfect mix for growing cannabis. I am sure there are many out there who have the ability to make up ther own mixes, but for me it takes out all the guess work.. If you really want to grow in soil you can even get potting mix that is especially blended for growing pot..

hope you pull some juicy goodness

Baileys potting mix is terrrrrible stuff - i bought a couple bags once for other plants and swear never to buy it again. Recommed buying Searles in the future. That stuff is also full of slow release fertilizer so you need to watch that you do not feed much or you will burn your plants. Edited by Bento

Can you give us a shot of the entire plant ? not just close ups ?

Edit: dont just use ph down wily nilly, need a ph pen and always feed it at 6.0ph

i wouldnt worry too much though if its just 1 leaf, it probably got burnt with water while watering.

Edit2: I just realized that leaf only has 3 leafs on it ? Do all your leaves have such a low count ?

Disagree Bento. Potting mix/soil ph should be 6.5 - 7. Coco should be 6ph roughly

Any potting mix for roses (so long as it does not have a lot of wood in the bag) is better imo.

BF, I would get rid of the mulch on top of the pots. If you want to use mulch get your self a bale of pea straw from Bunnings. So much better, lots of nitrogen in it. Your plants look ok to me. Healthy!

Pellet ferts are also not a great way to get nutes into the roots. Take too long to work.
