an `axial' fan is also called a `turbo'. It is like a standard ceiling exhaust fan.

 

A Centrifugal is also called a `drum' type fan.

:P yeah tah for that, wasnt sure...the centrifugal fan is a sorta barrel or squirrel cage type job then...learn something new every day.
