Also make sure you lift the bottle once a day to let out stale air. You can use a spray bottle and mist lightly once a day to keep up humidity too

I had 4 seedlings came home to find 3/4 had been eaten by birds? Or something maybe the dog? So I germinated 5 more seeds and ended up with 3 plants I'm total I'm sure at least 1 will be male, so germinate plenty expecting up harvest a few

 

Check em out now, 2-3 months later.

Starting to think Bonza Seeds are crap!

Have tried to germinate 8 now and all but 2 ( the ones eaten by the grasshoppers) have not germinated.

Cost me $100.00 for the seeds and all the "stealth bullshit" I went through to get them here.

Every other year I have just put them in soil and away we go.

Mate I had 3 packs wasted before i found this site, I just chucked em in pots and waited I got 1 out of 30. Then I carefully followed the tutes here. Now i get 99% same seeds you just got to treat them different to bag seed, bagseed are cheaper and more robust than the seeds I get from Europe this indoor lark seems to require a more deft touch. But once they crack their as strong as any plant. Look at how you germinate them. I am only telling my experience not saying I know it all but I learnt it here.

Either way a seed is a seed .

 

Bought seed should be more viable than bag seed if anything as they should be fresh , fully developed and ready to germinate .

 

Cantgrow - germinating is not rocket science and if you have followed the few simple basics like I believe you have then I agree that you should be having much better luck than that !

 

Unfortunately many seed banks at your stage will say they were for souvenir purposes only not for growing anyways

 

It does suck when the outdoor season is slipping away , hope you have better luck soon !

I planted bag seed on Australia Day last year and got a 7ft plant (seeds and buds herme) which I pulled out 3 months later!

Good bud too, once you get the seeds out.

Thought these bought seeds would be easy as.

Thinking I might just plant the herme seeds and see what happens.

Hey cantgrow.... I know you said what strain they are but that was a few pages ago..... What strain are you planing on growing? I find sativa doms can take a little longer to pop

I germinated 6 auto beans recently, got 4 out. Funny though, one sprouted and shot up straight away, while the rest popped over the course of the next week and a half. Had written two off for sure then they poked through. Nice and healthy now.

 

How long are you waiting until you write them off?

Not sure what strain, had them soaking for 5 days. Two produced tap roots. Then once put in soil they shrivelled.

Never had dramas germinating until I bought seeds.

Have tossed the others in the soil and fingers crossed. If no luck by New Year, I'm back to bag seeds. Three months will grow me a plant big enough to have buds for a year.
