Hi , just a newbie here . And i really like the site . I was interested in the talk about vaporizers . I recently bought a Verdamper VaporHighzer for $600AU .Sounds expensive but it is the best thing that i ever did.It is a convection style that blows hot air through the bud NOT the combustion type with the dome on top.I also have a dome style one which i bought first and it is absolutely shithouse.Complete waste of money.Do not buy them they are f@#%ed.ANYWAY back to the Verdamper.It gets me so smashed , like smoking for the first time.And mind you i have been a bong smoker for over 25 years.One cones worth of bud gets me about 10 big vapor tokes.2 cones and you are anybodies.You can find them at de.verdamper.nl . Or go to Nol Van Schaik's Hempcity.com website.Click on the cannabis shops part , go across to the Sativa section & click on 'The Art of Vapor' and you will see the vaporiser that i bought in action.It is absolutely fantastic , i've had it for 3 weeks and haven't used anything else , no bongs,pipes ,joints etc.The heat gun types work on the same principle as mine,but they are very noisy , you have to hold the gun the whole time & have to fiddle around to get best temp.The Verdamper is silent , you dont have to hold it & the heating element does everything for you.I have a friend who has a Volcano & Verdamper.And he rates the Verdamper better , coz you are vaping from a bong,not a bag & it is watercooled.The Volcano is not.And the best thing is that it is alot healthier than smoking.So everybody give it a try.If you use a proper&efficient vaporiser you will never look back.

why not just EAT your mj instead of smoking it? In terms of 'bang for your buck', u will get the most stoned from a small amount.

 

Also burning actually destroys many of the active ingredients.

Actually eating MJ takes twice as much as smoking to get the same effect.I have done it for years.And yes burning does destroy many of the active ingredients , that is why i spent so much on a vaporiser .
