Massive Problem with plant leaves

Recommended Posts

Kraut, i really do not like the look of the potting mix , in the first photo the potting mix looks like it has some white deposits on the bark kinda like salt residue? .. and i dont think that is not from the water you use is it ..

cant think of any other reason the leaves are freaking out like that, its often nute burn that makes the plant react like that but seeing as you not using nutes

i tend to think same as ind00^ , that the soil maybe too "hot"

as in it has too many nutrients packed into it for tender young plants to be able to handle

all i can suggest is flush the pots with lots of clean straight water, make sure the soil drains well too ... it does doesnt it?

hopefully that might dilute whatever is in the soil troubling the plant

others may have better ideas?

:peace:

ok so ya did feed them , i would flush them

i guess flushing could help .....

The only issue i see with flushing is that ..... if the "issues" occured before the nutrient feed ......(seems like its the case, but i cant be certain in this instance ....) then its likely 5 or 10 litres of water flushed through it wont help the organic additives to be leached from the soil much at all ..... it also has 4months of nutrients in slow release also .... as i mentioned ..... cut it next time with straight coco or something ..... but yeah, the salt buildup on the bark is a sure indication something heavy was fed to them ...... anyway, sorry for my ramble im bloody bored lol .... i love to try to help fellow growers ...... i had a lot of help from the crew here along the way myself ... i would suggest cutting that organic mix 50/50 with coco (and flush) ...... and just foliar feed them seasol for a week straight ... if you see any lightening of the foliage (past what it is now ....) its an indication you can up the feeds slightly .... less is more ...... sorry for the ramble, i'm bored shitless, if i can help in some way i'll try ... not here to chit-chat and gossip, i'm here for cannabis ..... you'll always find a decent support network here if you need it ...... plenty of growers 'round here .....

avoid slow release ferts in your medium if you can .... ..... even moreso if you want to hand feed em nutes ..... i learnt the hard way lol ... mistakes dont mean a thing ... if you dont regret them ..... *whistle*

***EDIT*** - What are the specific NPK values of that soil mix ....... incl calcium % ...... ? ......... usually will display a calcium %......

You could cut it out in about a 2cm x 2cm plug and transplant it into some seedling mix, no nutes!, mix in about 10% worm casting if you have some, let it go and don't feed it anything until it picks up again if it does.

Honestly if you've got more beans i'd just pop another one, but the time that one gets over the acid fuck and the shock, a healthy plant would be close to that size anyway.

Good luck
