horror movies are always good, but then you may get a fat paranoia attack.

you can't go past stoner movies either, Pineapple Express is probably one of the better ones of those.

Depends on what you are in the mood for....

 

If you are in the mood for a cheesy B-movie that will make you laugh for arse off you can't beat The Evilbong starring none other than Tommy Chong.

 

As far as trippy/visually stimulating movies--- koyaanisqatsi (godfrey reggio) and Rivers and Tides (a documentary on Andy Goldsworthy- perhaps the greatest living artist) are both exceptional.
