I've seen cannabis plants actually growing in snow !

Yep, frosty leaves too and a great final plant to boot.

Some of you guys are much too concerned about temps, light leaks and

nutrients.

It's a WEED remember. A strong adaptable one too.

Tracy,

I do agree that it is a weed and a very adaptable one, but for optimal growth there are some factors that need to be looked after. Sure you can grow a plant in frost/snow but not to optimal.

I've had rooms with light leaks and sure it went to head and them turned hermie. Not good.

And Ive not kept an eye on pH and EC and it went to head but was all spindally, light growth. Not good. And when you smoked it the burn in the throat was not nice at all. Not good.

As for the temps I'm doing recirc, and without an aquirium water heater my water is freezing cold, my growth is stunted and in grow (18/6) it takes a long time for my growth to spread out. Put a heater in the water and the growth rate increase is very noticable.

So sure you can grow a plant without managing the variables, but not to optimal.

Light leaks pretty much equals hermie

As above, I fully agree, JJ.
